IT IS ONE THING TO READ A BOOK, IT IS AN ENTIRELY OTHER THING TO DIGEST A TEXT WITH PEERS WHILE DISCUSSING WAYS TO IMPLEMENT WHAT IS LEARNED.
AN ONLINE COMMUNITY OF GROWTH MINDED SPORT COACHES USING LITERATURE AND DISCUSSION TO HELP GUIDE THEIR COACHING PHILOSOPHY.
THE COACH BOOK CLUB BRINGS TOGETHER THE EXPERIENCE OF COACHES FROM AROUND THE GLOBE IN ONE PLACE TO LEARN, SHARE, AND DISCUSS WAYS TO HAVE A MORE POSITIVE IMPACT ON THE ATHLETES THAT CALL US COACH.
Open registration happens in November, February, May, and August. New teams of coaches are formed and begin in December, March, June, and September.
Once you sign up and provide us the details to send you the reading material, our team will assign you a team of other coaches in a group of no more than 15.
In a few days, you will receive your reading material and assignments, plus information about your new team of coaches.
Your team will be reading the same pages on the same day as you. The daily discussion takes part in our private Slack channel as well as the by-monthly conference calls.
With the Coach Book Club, you'll make connections that will turn into friends that will last a lifetime, plus you receive $100’s of dollars of FREE books throughout the year. These books will line your shelves and contain your personal highlights and writings in the margins, reminding you that there is always room for improvement in thought and in action.
Maybe most importantly, you’ll receive benefit of being challenged by your peers during daily discussions in the Slack app (available on your computer and a mobile app for your phone or tablet), and during the monthly team discussions.
When you sign up, you’ll be assigned to a 15-member “TEAM” of growth-minded coaches who will help support your commitment to continuously evolving your coaching philosophy.
You will be reading the same sections as your team on the same days and you are encouraged to share insights and ideas for discussion, sharing, and implementation of new ideas.
Membership includes a NEW copy of the reading material shipped directly to you. If you already have a copy of the book, give it to a fellow coach and challenge them to read the text with you.
